if some company make a case with a keyboard all in one then this in theory can be great for college students. i work looks amazing (better than word on netbooks) apps are rich and smooth netbooks cant even run games like the ipad. need for speed/ assassins creed etc. apps can be loaded very fast so lack of multitasking should not be something to whine about. LOL

The reason the iPad doesn’t have a CD-ROM drive is because it would make the battery life too low and make the device thicker than 0.5-inches. A normal portable PC doesn’t have a 10-hour battery, but the iPad does.
